Licence agreement
Last updated 22 August 2026
This agreement is between you and Structopedia ("we"), the maker of Onionskin, and covers your use of the Onionskin application for macOS ("the app").
What you may do
You may install and use the app on Macs that you own or control, for any lawful purpose. A paid licence, once purchasing is available, covers one person across the machine limit stated at purchase.
What you may not do
- Redistribute, sell, rent or sublicense the app itself.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where law permits it regardless of this agreement.
- Share a licence key beyond the people and machines it was sold for.
Your documents are yours
Everything you create with the app — marked-up drawings, exports, libraries — belongs to you. The app stores your work in files on your Mac; we never receive it.
Updates
The app can check for and install updates. Updates are covered by this agreement.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. You are responsible for checking engineering work product yourself; the app is a markup and review tool, not a design tool, and its measurements depend on the calibration you give it.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing in this agreement excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Ending
This agreement ends if you breach it. You can end it any time by deleting the app.
Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
